Missouri Families for Effective Autism Treatment (MO-FEAT) was incorporated in 1997 as a Missouri not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization in response to the lack of effective treatment available to children living with autism throughout Missouri. Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, MO-FEAT is an organization of concerned parents, practitioners, and educators who volunteer their experience and expertise to serve this population of individuals affected by autism and their families.  MO-FEAT’s mission is to provide advocacy, education, and support for families and the autism community, and to support early diagnosis and effective treatment.

The Ozarks Area Autism Clinic (OAAC) provides multi-disciplinary and differential diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder for children 18 months through six years as well as provide treatment for children 18 months through six years. Our team will provide your family real direction in living day-to-day with the struggles you may face. We believe in early intervention and welcome young children to our clinic. 





PROJECT ACCESS

Project ACCESS provides autism resource information to public schools in the form of on-site and telephone consultations, as well as support via internet.  In addition, Project ACCESS designs autism specific professional development opportunities and trains professional credentialed individuals to present these courses through Missouri's RPDCs. These trainings are offered to Missouri school district staff and educators who work with youngsters ages 0-21 years, who experience Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disabilities.  On-site child specific consultations can be arranged through the use of Missouri Autism Consultants and district staff can be trained to be In-district Autism Consultants.

Ozark Center for Autism offers child-centered diagnostic, treatment, and education services. In consultation with the Cleveland Clinic Autism Consulting Group, the Ozark Center for Autism uses an evidenced-based practice proven to be effective in the treatment of autism, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Children receive year-round treatment to maximize opportunities for growth and development in language, emotion, social skills, and interests.



MPACT - Missouri Parents Act

MPACT is a statewide parent training and information center that serves parents of children with all disabilities.  Our primary goal is to assist parents in their effort to effectively advocate for their children's educational rights and services.  MPACT staff and volunteers are located throughout Missouri and work with public and private agencies, parent groups, professional organizations and advocacy groups to achieve that goal.





Developmental Center of the Ozarks

The Early Child Care and Education Program offers a daily classroom setting for infants and children 6 weeks through 6 years who require specialized programs and therapies as well as children who do not. The classroom instruction is based on a developmental model and offers a wide variety of activities including language stimulation, motor development, self-help skill development, learning centers, and play activities. Trained staff and a full time nurse are supervised by a professional coordinator with a degree in the education field.
